Tinchy Stryder
Ghanaian-born English businessman, investor and rapper, Kwasi Danquah, otherwise known as Tinchy Stryder, has released three solo albums as well as undertaking business ventures such as the clothing line Star in the Hood and the Cloud 9 x Goji headphone and audio equipment range in collaboration with the Goji brand.
Seen here wearing Reality Dreams sunglasses, Tinchy achieved a B.A. (Hons) in Digital Arts, Moving Image and Animation. He started making music as early as 11 years old and started in business aged 20. His music career has seen him work with the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, Craig David and N-Dubz. He has performed at the O2 Arena, opened at the Glastonbury Festival, helped launched the career of Example and was the first rapper, contemporary artist and singer in history to perform at a UEFA Champions League final back in 2011.
His business ventures include Star in the Hood clothing brand, Takeover/Cloud 9 publishing company and joint venture with EMI Music Publishing as well as releasing a line of consumer electronic through Goji Electronics, which donates money to charity. Despite wanting to be a footballer when he was younger, even enrolling in the academy at Wimbledon F.C., Tinchy has quite literally made a name for himself in the world of music and business!
